All year round, ciCUM will offer a range of services and activities to ensure the visit to the centre and national park is an enriching experience, as well as raising awareness of the rich heritage offered by the largest protected nature reserve in the Iberian Peninsula.
Guided visits and tours
Visitors will be offered all kinds of activities in addition to visits and guided tours, such as guided themed routes, tours on a kayak, bike tours, tours on off-road vehicles and services such as renting bikes and binoculars, canoeing, rafting, canyoning, rock climbing, abseiling, zip-lining, archery, horseriding, etc. All this with the guarantee of Alma Gaia and its guides and with officially approved equipment to ensure your stay is pleasant, informative and safe. Always with our stamp of quality: in the case of canyoning, there must be enough time to explain a geological structure or indigenous plants, to enjoy the flight of a vulture or the diving of a white-throated dipper, etc.
Our aim is to promote local products by means of simple cuisine typical of the area. An evening barbeque on a lounge terrace with gentle cocktails and soft music. Discovering the essence of meat roasted in the most authentic local serrano style. All this is easy: we'll procure the best local raw materials and treat them with the utmost respect, and that's all. The bar will offer simple breakfasts and lunches all year long but, during the summer months, we'll also provide the region with a different venue in which to enjoy the mountain air and its starry heavens.
Local products. Produced in the region, especially organic products and those with the National Park brand, paying particular attention to excellence, denominations of origin and typical products from the region.
‘ciCUM’ specific product line. A whole collection of exclusive products (mugs, T-shirts and prints) with exclusive motifs from the Culture of Timber. This line of products will include the phrase, in Spanish and English, ‘... from the trees of the National Park of the Mountain Ranges of Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas’.
Bookshop. We believe it's particularly important to offer visitors guides on fish, birds, flora, etc. in Spanish and English, as well as maps, local publications on ethnography, history, the customs of the region, cuisine, etc. We have an extensive catalogue that is already being handed out in our shops. Particularly noteworthy is a whole collection on the uses of timber in the area, forest exploitation handbooks, etc.
Mountain equipment product line.We are specialists in mountain equipment shops and can therefore offer visitors a selection of high quality equipment for mountaineering and trekking. This is obviously not a point of sale for very technical equipment but there are samples of garments, footwear and accessories from three brand segments:
